How To Apply Belton Ral Colors?
Substrate
Metal (cleaned, free of dust and grease) Various plastics (PP, EPDM, ABS, PC, PPO, PA, PVC, PUR, PBT(B), UP-GF). Clean surface with water and detergent. Please check compatibility and adherence on an unobstrusive spot. If necessary, apply plastic adhesion primer. Styropor, wood, rattan/bast, clay, ceramics, glass, paper, Stone (dust off loose particles).
Processing
Wear personal protection equipment. (gloves / goggles) For more information, see safety data sheet.
Shake can thoroughly for 2 minutes – starting from when the mixing balls are heard.
Optimal surrounding temperature for application between 20° C and 25° C. Avoid direct sunlight or wind.
Spraying distance : 15 cm – 25 cm Always hold the can in an upright position. Start your spraying passes outside of the object.
Spray passes : Spray on 2 – 3 thin coats crosswise, first vertically then horizontally: approx. 40 – 50 µm
Drying
dust dry : approx. 20 min
dry to touch : after approx. 60 min
fully cured : approx. 12 hours
Finish :
After finishing the painting process can turn around and spray the valve empty.
